At the end of the main story of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, you will finally face the monster that caused the fall of the Kingdom – Gaismagorm. He is the main host of the Qurios and somehow an older dragon, despite constant evidence of being a demon. Before starting the action, take the Aurortle at the beginning, because it will save you once from a deadly blow. And believe us, during this action, many potentially deadly strikes are waiting for you.

Gaismagorm, like Malzeno, with his Qurio strikes, as well as Blastblight, can cause blood flashes, thanks to the large number of explosions. He is immune to elemental ice and water damage, but weak against The Dragon element, followed by thunder and fire damage. The head is the best weak point that takes significant damage due to cut and blunt weapons. However, they will break the crystals on their different body parts.

These are absorbed when Gaismagorm jumps to the cliff and starts breathing all around. By staying close to the stones that come out of the ground, you can avoid being too close when the inhaled crystals explode. If you have broken enough crystals, they will inflict considerable damage on the boss and even knock him down.

The action consists of three phases. In the first action, you action Gaismagorm as shown above, breaking the crystals from his body. You should also avoid being bruised by his claws or suffering damage if he moves his head. He uses exploding fireballs for immense damage and even causes explosions with claws. Although he can be so slow at times, his strikes (and his body) cover a long range, so it’s easy to get hit. Sticking to the hind legs is the best way to avoid many of its devastating strikes. The Dragonator takes a while to charge at this point, but deals significant damage as soon as it is called.

After losing 60% of his HP, Gaismagorm falls into a second lower level. Chase him and Phase 2 begins with the angry monster. Many of the previous strikes are still valid, except that thanks to the explosions, they are even more peril than before. Of the new ones, the claws are shot down several times and fire is spat out on top, which then falls like small meteors (at this stage it is useful to hide under Gaismagorm to avoid this). You can start inflicting partial damage on his poor (the tail retains the damage from the previous Phase), but try to distribute as much punishment as possible on the head.

When Gaismagorm takes enough damage, he begins to climb the rock face. The mounted towers fall and can be used to knock down the Qurio spots on the back. Meanwhile, the Boss is firing Qurio projectiles at the player, so make sure to finish them before they get too close. If you are alone, the ideal is to finish two vulnerabilities. When the Qurio comes out of his body, they quickly retreat. Gaismagorm unleashes a beam strike that deals huge damage, then explodes in a wide radius. finish the three weak points and he will fall, land and finish the towers.

You are now in the third Phase, where Gaismagorm becomes even more furious and generates more explosions with his strikes. During a particular strike, he crawls through the arena, leaving behind fireballs that remain stationary. Find a safe place where you can stand before they all explode, and you should be good.

Defeat Gaismagorm and you have successfully completed the story of the breaking of the sun. Now it’s time to jump into the finals and upgrade the master rank to face even tougher enemies like the angry Rajang and finally the despised Magnamalo.

How to defeat the despised Magnamalo

The Despised Magnamalo becomes available from Master rank 100 – If you defeat it, you can upgrade your MR to 999. This is a much more powerful version of Magnamalo with new tricks, crazy damage and faster movement. The head is its main weakness with the cut, blunt and ammunition weapons that cause the most damage, followed by crossbows, the front legs (with cut and blunt weapons) and the tail (with cut weapons). He is immune to fire and dragon damage, but weak against elemental water damage, followed by thunder and ice.

Like Magnamalo, the Despised Magnamalo can cause massive explosions of hellfire and inflict status on the player. It also collects hellfire on certain parts of the body such as the mouth and armbands. If they deal enough damage, they explode, which stuns the monster. However, you need to be extremely careful with his strikes. The frenzied strike remains the most devastating, as the despised Magnamalo charges all over the arena, jumps and lands with an Explosion. It’s usually a good idea to run away when he starts running when you’re not sure if you’re dodging him.

Of course, you will also have to deal with his tail strikes, especially the various explosions He shoots. These shoot much faster than the basic variant-try not to go too far, as they have a good range and are much harder to dodge this way. Otherwise, pay attention to his charge when he is moving towards a target, the explosions that occur when sweeping and hitting the ground, and his spin strike.

Use Wyvern Riding as often as possible and focus on the hellfire that Magnamalo despised. Even with fully improved and optimized constructions and weapons of rarity 10, the despised Magnamalo is very tough. Several strikes will hit you almost at once, if not finish you directly. Pay attention to his strikes, especially to his tail. When he gets angry, he becomes even more unpredictable, so wait for him to come to you.
